Business Development Manager at PT. PETROSEA

We are currently taking applicants for the following Jakarta based positions:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Requirements :

1. 10 years working experiences with at least 5 years at the same industry or relevant experiences in heavy industrial projects, preferably with minerals & mining infrastructure.
2. Excellent English skills - spoken, written and presentation.
3. Preferable to have worked with a world class International Corporation.
4. Posses Master of Business Administration degree, undergraduate degree in Engineering preferred (but not essential).
5. Ability to develop strategic plans, implement those plans and meet business growth and development targets.
6. Requires the ability to coordinate own efforts such that they meet business deadlines.
7. Must be proficient in excel, power point and report preparation and presentation
8. May require local and overseas travel from time to time.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :

1. Source opportunities for new business through establishing and developing relationships with new clients in existing markets, new industry contacts and potential clients in new markets via sales calls, face to face visits, presentations and lobbying.
2. Develop new contracting strategies (eg. alliancing, joint venturing, EPC) by investigating competitor and market practices, determining most advantageous to Petrosea and marketing/selling new contracting concepts to clients.
3. Build long term relationships with clients by gaining an understanding of clients strategy and upcoming projects/opportunities and demonstrating Petrosea’s capacity to act as partner in helping clients achieve their strategic goals.
4. Assess impact of changes in the market, government policy etc. on Petrosea strategic goals, contracting strategies and tendering strategies.
5. Provide information/answer questions on all aspects of projects in an easy to understand manner and in non-technical language if required - construction, on site, engineering and quality aspects.
